KIEWIET Event Facilities

Overview

The Kiewiet Conference facility offers versatile facilities ideal for a range of events. Our venue includes a main hall, a large veranda perfect for food service, and an outdoor braai (barbecue) area.

We invite the community and club members to make use of these facilities — a place where you can laugh, sing, and enjoy yourself!

Facilities Available

  • Main Hall: Primary event space, accommodating up to 70 guests for sit-down dinners or 80 for concerts and talks.

  • Large Veranda: Ideal for serving food and informal gatherings.

  • Braai Area: Outdoor entertainment space with barbecue amenities.

  • Secure Parking: Ample safe parking for guests.

  • Accessibility: Located along a main road for easy access.

Equipment Provided

  • 40 tables and 90 chairs

    (tables can seat between 4 to 10 people per table)

    • Cutlery and tablecloths

  • Fully equipped kitchen with:

    • Gas stove

    • Household fridge and freezer

    • Microwave oven

    • Urn

Note: Basic kitchen equipment is available, but additional items may need to be provided for larger events.

  • Monthly tea gardens with art exhibitions (with potential for weekly gatherings)

  • Monthly special days for seniors

  • Motivational talks for teenage girls to support informed decision-making

  • Youth involvement: Giving young members opportunities to participate in events, fostering self-sufficiency and motivation
