6th May, 2023 - Here's how this years format will look: Main Draw Qualifying (lowest 20 seeds): winners progress to A grade, losers to C grade Last 32: Winners progress to A grade last 16, losers to B grade Scoring: Bo5 PAR11 Womens Draw First round: winners progress to semi finals, losers to plate comp Scoring: Bo5 PAR11 Handicap Straight knockout, losers are out Scoring: Bo5 PAR15 (use squash levels to determine handicap, speak to Jules if struggling) …

About
The Northern Club Closed championships returns for another season, with a graded event, womens only draw, handicap tournament, and a junior event brand new for this years competition.
Once again players will be required to play all matches up to the semi finals by a certain date, with the semi finals being held on 2nd June and the finals on 3rd June, followed by the club end of season social.
The championships are open to all members of The Northern, advised level is NWCSL and Cheshire Ladies League players. Spaces limited so sign up ASAP

Next time I think we should control the food distribution to avoid it being nicked by other members - also, a more precise schedule of activity for those with Kids. They get super hungry!

Squash format and matches were great. Food as dual was less than poor! But that’s the expected standard now!
